my dad seems to be getting things sorted. I live to far away to deal with the daily things. I live near nottingham but all my family live near manchester. I know he is looking after things so i just have to trust him to sort it out. i think it wll take time.
I am just feeing lost and still can believe i will never see him again. I dont want to be an only child.
Thank you all again i feel better with your support

Hello Louise, I'm sure many people on MSE have been thinking of you over the past few days. Hope this helps - have a look at www.flickr.com, it's a site for people to create their own gallery of photos and pictures. Other MSE'ers may have better ideas than this. Have you thought about starting a blog? Family and friends could add their comments to it and you could upload photos to it.
And perhaps friends of your brother could send you photos they have of him and you could upload those as well.
Planting a tree would be a lovely way to remember him.
Very best wishes to you, Dora0 -
There is a site called Winstonswish that is designed for kids grieving but ,it gives lots of good Ideas .
I am doing memory boxes for my kids about their Dad .They have written prayers, poems and have photos in them .
They also chose one of his ties to put in .
It is still early days.(It will be 6 months since I lost my DH) and things are improving .
Have you an inqueast date ?That will be tough but,if I can help.0 -
So very sorry Louise. I can say nothing more than that, I'm afraid. Just know that you're in the thoughts of lots of people.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0
