i got 2x256mb 1Rx16 PC2-3200U-333-10-C1
when i remove one of them my pc does not start up
and i did buy a while ago
2x512mb 2Rx8 PC2-3200U-333-10-B1 when i put them they didnt work windows does not start up
maybe my memory isnt changeable
what does this numbers mean? 1Rx16 PC2-3200U-333-10-C1
Wish I could help ~ id have said that would have worked fine (Unless one of the NEW sticks was a dud? ~ maybe try one then the other in ALL ports)
The only other possible I can think of is that the ram isnt JEDEC compliant (The RAM standard) or your motherboard wont allow 1 gig of ram.:idea:0
