Helloooooooo there Marshallka

The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
OMG we had that reply as well from one of the girls from Nemo.... , hubby rang them for something then told them he was waiting for the SAR, the girl asked "do you mind telling me what an SAR is please"? , hubby passed me on to explain..... .
And this was supposed to have been the section that dealt with the records and data........honestly !
This was ages ago now.
It's shocking they all get told what it is and how you handle the data, maybe training didn't happen at EGG or NEMO :rotfl: that's also why they have been fined, training issues prob:wave:0 -

Now I believe my thinking to be correct here - but if not please let me know....If I was told that I could only receive a lower APR on a loan if I accepted the PPI - I believe I've been missold the policy??
However... if I have since made a claim - does that make it null and void and I can't do a god damn thing..
Maybe cancel the PPI though??
Just take a look at the link here and see what you can add and delete from the template letter. Its always best to do your own from this. There are lots of reason on there for the misselling so pick out the ones that are applicable to yours.
You then write to the firm that actually made the sale of the PPI to you if this is different from the lender and don't forget to send this recorded delivery so you always a proof and dates etc.
After that you have to give them 8 weeks for a full and final response. In this time it is usual to get a response of "sorry we sold this to you fairly" but you then respond to this and reiterate your complaint again. The next time they write they either give you a final response which you would need in order to take this complaint to the FOS or offer to settle.

Well got my SAR from MBNA this am all about 10 pages of it including my credit agreement.
Did not tick for PPI however on statement ppi was taken and then shows as being refunded on more than one occasion so not really sure what has been going on here0 -

I know what you mean.......:rotfl: :rotfl: , since my complaint about Nemo I have come across loads of others complaining about them, when we received the SAR, you should see some of the comments they made when we complained !!
Its just not right, with them knowing we would see it all, these comments were wrote on the margins !!
Even found the part where the adviser said
"The XXXXXX wanted a loan without the PPI, I managed to get them to take it,told them they had to have this, then they wanted to cancel, and I stopped them doing this"
(this was for the advance on the case we won with the FOS)
They also made many comments, some not nice either ! Oops edited to just remove the C to an S lolThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Yes as suggested best to wait before complaining. You never know what these companies might forget to put in your file by accident.
I have found lately with EGG and MBNA that they have not sent me telephone recordings that mainly what I want.0 -
