Wow in the Welsh Valleys then ?
My mum was born in Tonypandy in the Rhonnda Valleys, and dad in Old Tredegar, I don't think I've been to Kent but have seen lovely pics online and so.;)

  • Hi guys just quick query here.

I sent my letter off to halifax regarding miss selling of ppi on my loan,i have had a response saying we have decided to pay you all the ppi and 8% back.

it also says we will be contacting you shortly about the amount.

What i need to know is how long it takes to hear what the amount is and how long after their refund letter to actually recieving the money.

anyone who has successfully had there ppi refunded from Halifax would know this

    i really appreciate any info

Hello decipher29, I am one of the lucky ones who won PPI with Halifax, it took about 2 weeks to send the calculations and another 2 to get the cheque.

  • Hello again peeps... jus a query on a technical issue if I can, as you are probably aware im in the process of taking lloyds for ppi protection reclaiming. I spoke to someone in their collections who had agreed this could be cancelled and I received a 'new loan agreement' dated 01/12/2008. As it was not a new loan I wanted but the ppi cancelling I never returned either this or the d/d agreement and chose to follow the path of the mse ppi guide. I just saw my lloyds statement for my bank account and on the 06/01/2009 328.00 was debited from my account re a loan. as my current loan is on a dmp with cccs and they have no signed agreement re the new loan (its sat in a folder on my lap as we speak) then can they legally take money without my written consent re a second loan that I never had. And if not then anyone know which legislation can be used to grab them by the short and curlies lol

Hi Hawkwind. Have you tried on the Bankruptcy Forum. You may get a lot more help on there from people that have more knowledge about the above.

Or as Pinknico said Incipience may be able to help.:D
