hi guys this is my first time so i dont know if im in the right place.
my question is i sent a letter to hsbc for ppi but its on a credit card anyway they have wrote back saying they will not refund as this was suitable for me they have given loads of explanation just wondering what to do now.

Hi and welcome.;)

If that was your first letter, I would write back and tell them your not satisfied with their response and would appreciate it if they will reconsider, or you will not hesitate to move this on the the Financial ombudsman service.

Did they say you can write back in order for them to reconsider?
Or mention the Financial ombudsman service and enclose the leaflet for this?
