The main problem on here is people get annoyed (quite rightly IMO) when someone like you spams their UW business. Even the respectful distributors who DON'T advertise their business on here get a slagging from a triumvirate of anti-UW obsessives, so be prepared for a virtual bashing. You really haven't done UW any favours by this post.Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -

Jim.
You are in clear breach of the rules of this site.
"Don't post links for personal gain. Except in the referrers section."
You also breach the Utility Warehouse rules about SPAMMING,which i believe they take a dim view of.
In the cirumstances you may want to at least remove the link to your personal site.0 -
Err-because as they charge a commission their dearer?0

I wasn't exactly underhand about it - I did state my involvement right up front!
So everyone is very keen on the rules - and no one has a useful answer?
Ahh well - if I can find a way to take this down, I will.0 -

Than who or what, though?Ebico are a non-profit making charity but they would still charge me precisely £130 more for my electricity per year than UW would. It's never as simple as that, is it?
OP, just click edit, then Go Advanced and you should be able to just take out all the wording of your title and post...Call me Carmine....

Ebico are not a charity.
Could you post the consumption figures and distribution area that would cost you £130 more with ebico compared to UW, and presumably even more than £130 with ebico compared to Scottish Power who you decided to move to please."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -

And yet they never seem to get a mention here - certainly not in the price league tables - and I don't really understand why.
Not only that, they have a guarantee (that has stood for over five years now) that they are permanently cheaper than British Gas, permanently cheaper than the Big Six electricity suppliers, and permanently cheaper than British Telecom. (One-off specials, online deals and duel fuel deals are not included).
Line rental, for example, is £8.99 a month, and calls are free, depending on how many utilities you take.
This is another (typical) misleading post from the uw.
1) What league tables is this supposed "genuine" question supposed to be about?
2) Their "guarantee" is not as stated. They do not say they are "permanently" cheaper than the big 6 - all they "guarantee" is to be "competitive" with the big 6. This is just marketing speak - despite many requests, not one of the many uw reps who use this forum to similarly spam their products has been able to define what theu mean by being "competitive". Though it certainly doesn't mean "cheapest".
You neglect throughout your spam to mention that also not included in your claims is the extra membership fee all your customers have to pay of between £1.76 and £3 a month.
The ASA have adjudicated many times against them for false and misleading adverts like this.
(They are safe to lie here, as the ASA does not regulate any net advertising)0 -

People on this forum always try to help when anyone asks a question.
But you just make matters worse for your company when you post a nonsensical so called question along with your spam, then post again to grumble about the reaction you get and chastise us for not taking your question as a genuine request for help.0
