I'm off to work shortly. Don't finish until about 8.30 pm today so it will be very cold and dark when I come home.

It's bright sunshine here - although admittedly rather chilly.

Today I am mostly trying to work out how on earth I am going to do my own roots, as my hair is looking horrible.

Ryan wants to go on a train and have lunch somewhere so we might try to do that, although at the moment he is also refusing to get dressed, so maybe not!

I finally got my oven working last night and the chicken was cooked at..........MIDNIGHT! Any ideas what I can do with a large quantity of roast chicken?

I had the best sleep last night - shut the cat out of the bedroom and Hubbles slept in the spare room. How bad is that!?:p

morning - PC is still critical, seems my hard drive is on its way out. Not surprised, it was low spec when new 4 years ago and has been abused somewhat with AQA over the last 2.5 years. May have to swap yo lappy.

Oh, and it seems Charlie's portrait is lost in the post.......gutted is not the word to even begin describing it.........trying to get through to my sorting office but it is never answered. The artist is going to try her post office where it went from. It went first class on 20 October. She has a 'session code' from the proof of posting but I'm fearful that means she didn't send it recorded.

Oh no BB, that stinks. She's a not the smartest tool in the box if she didn't send it recorded. Not that money will really replace it anyway. I hope it gets found

so do I Gemmz :-( Seems I was ringing the old number for the sorting office, I now have the current one which is engaged, but I'll keep trying.

EDIT: I've spoken to the sorting office manager. He says the number isn't one used for recorded/special delivery. Bum.

He is going to have a look for anything without a home which fits the description and speak to the van driver. He says apart from today's delivery, they are up to date and will call me back at some point today.
