What....I can't believe it BB. Do you think she has actually sent it? Maybe its just the suspicious person in me but any normal person who had spent all that time over a peice of work would have sent it special/recorded delivery. They would want to ensure it got to their customer and customer is happy. I know you didn't pay for it but still.

she's sent me the proof of posting, so it's been sent. It went first class packet but it's just gone 'normal', no signature etc.

All I'll have if it doesn't arrive is the web page with the finished drawing on :(

I would ask the question if you were a paying customer who's work had gone missing what she would do then. If I had paid hundreds of pounds and she sent it with only £36 cover for it being lost I would either a) expect my money back or B) expect her to do a replacement. Surely the responsibility is with her to get it to you safely

I'm just going to keep thinking positive thoughts. It will turn up..........it will.........

I think they are between £50 and £75 depending on colour or black and white sally - they are all pencil drawings.

BB, sorry to hear about Charlies portrait, that is such bad luck:(

Bunny - can I just say that you are lovely and when we got back from the Leeds meet and I showed the pictures to my work friends two of the guys in the office commented on how pretty you were............

they also agreed that I looked like I had someone elses teeth in in that horrible photo of me:rotfl:

Do you know what, we all need a bloody good laugh and a party to cheer us all up:beer:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Ok so if they are between £50-75 then you have £36 pounds compensation which you should get back from PO. I would go back to her and ask as she has posted with under insuring the item if she will do one for £36. I am sending positive vibes that it turns up for you BB

That's a good idea sally, if it doesn't arrive by (say) Monday, I will suggest that.

Makes me cross though that it is 'somewhere'.
