dial-a-phone unlocked phones?

Hi everyone,
Have seen the LG Viewty KU990 on orange payg for £119 on Dial-a-Phone.Does anyone know if their phones are unlocked like a lot of the Carphone Warehouse ones are? It's such a great deal but alas I'm not on Orange so the phone would need to be unlocked to accept my T-Mobile contract sim.
Any feedback on the query and indeed on Dial-a-Phone would be much appreciated.

It’s hard to tell without seeing the stock, but signs to look for are;

1.the box, if its black with the orange logo the def locked, if its original LG box then there is a good chance its unlocked (but not guaranteed)

2. Branding, if there is an orange logo printed on the front or back of the phone the it’s locked. also if you can see the phone startup and the screen displays orange graphics, its locked.

The above is only a guide but does apply to most networks

Sorry to hijack, but about to post the same thing - what about Vodafone contract phones through dial-a-phone (and Phones4u while we're at it), are they unlocked and unbranded?

1) The cpw will have different stock to dialaphone.

2) The prices instore will be more expensive than the online prices.

but is not always the case

I bought 2 contracts (with phones) via them last year and both phones were unlocked and unbranded.

I have bought two mobile contracts from Dialaphone over last year. Both unlocked and unbranded.

My C905 turned up today from Dial-a-phone which is locked and branded to Vodafone (well it's a Vodafone box so that what I gather as I can't open it). So it will be going back!!
