I'm declaring at £228 which is £28 over for me and I'm cheating slightly as we had a meal out (with DH's mum) and a takeaway with his kids and I usually regard "food" as coming out of the GC amount but as he paid this time and they were one off's as we don't see any of them very often due to where we all live then I'm going to ignore them!Piglet

I'm afraid I haven't kept up with the thread at all this month, but I am declaring £365 for November. Over budget again, but busyness and illness have caused problems this month!
Mrs M, please put me down for £400 for December. I'm being realistic - Christmas is coming, visitors on the horizon, and I need to do a wholefood bulk order this month.

I did a big chunk of my grocery shopping on Tesco.com where I bought ONLY the products that had been reduced to 1/2 price or less.
I ended up paying just £63.48 for £124.63 of products including Christmas pudding, turkey, scampi, prawns, Sensations, mini hit dogs, wine, champagne, satsumas, Carte D'Or plus a load of essentials like Flora, Domestos, NY bagels, PG Tips, tuna, mangos, cheese, yoghurts etc!
I can send my list to anyone who wants it?0 -
Ooops, my November total was over by £100 but I don't need to buy a few things until well into the new year.
And, it has been a very big eye opener for me! I had no idea how much I was wasting, and I considered mysef reasonably careful with the shopping.
Soo, here goes a better December!0 -
