Apparently she appears to have misjudged jumping across a brook near where she disappeared, and died pretty instantly. That is a relief I guess.

Oh dear I am sorry, it must be horrible for her owners but at least it was fairly instant so she didn't suffer.
  • What a shame, very sad for all those who have been out looking for her.

However, I think people had been worried that she may have been hungry, (muzzled) lost and frightened, which would have been far, far worse.

It appears she tried to leap over a stream whilst chasing and broke her neck - much better that she died quickly in an accident such as this, whilst happily racing about doing something she no doubt enjoyed.
  • That's so very sad, but a quick death is preferable to a slow starvation and at least she has been found, her poor owner must have been frantic.
I know I'd have been out there day and night if it had been one of mine.

I know Lisa is deeply dedicated to her greys and I'm just sad a dog that she rehomed to a loving home has met an early end. At least she didn't suffer but passed away without pain doing something she no doubt loved.
