Help! Lost dog in the New Forest!

Meg is a much loved greyhound who went missing in the New Forest on Friday afternoon. Since then people have been out searching for her, unsuccessfully so far. If anyone lives in that area can you please please keep an eye out for her, and ask others to do the same?

Sorry to hear this, I hope she turns up safely soon.

Not in the same league I know...but I lost a rabbit once and was distraught for ages so I sympathise.

It's good that she's chipped. Fingers crossed.

Thanks. Just to add she's not my dog, but I'm a member of the forum where her owner is. The whole forum is very very concerned and those of us too far away to actually go and search are now doing whatever we can think of to help.

Also, this is all the more urgent because Meg was muzzled when she went missing.
  • Get in touch with 'dog lost' wesite also post on 'Rescue helpers unite' website lots of members in different areas. Good luck i am presently looking for a sheltie and a collie cross in our local area through these websites.

    fingers crossed.
  • Also try gumtree in the lost and found. There usually good there. Good luck i know id be distraught if it was my dog. xx

I was wondering that - Ive had all our vets keeping their eyes open when they drive across the forest (not that we go that far over very often) and Im planning to go for a look after work tomorrow if I can get off early....

fingers crossed they have found her - Id be going demented if it was Percy...

  • She is still missing. Lisa from greyhound gap is organising a massive search at weekend if she still is missing.

Here is her thread on dp. I have linked to the page from today for arrangements.
