I understand the problems but really like the look and price of this TV, can any one recommend? Hoping that Beirdy was just very unlucky lol!

We bought it off the back of this thread and we're very happy wth it. I don't claim to be an expert but I think BW was unlucky.

I also have a Hanns upstairs, a 20inch screen which I saw on a thread on here a couple of years ago.

Sorry to bring up and old thread, but I bought one of these sets after reading about it on these forums. I too now have a problem, in that the stand_by light flashes and the set won't switch on. Shame really, as the set was just what we were after. Hopefully Hannspree will be able to sort it out. Fingers crossed

A month later and still not replaced by Hannspree, their customer service is rubbish!

Oh dear. If it's any consolation, mine's fine so you should get a decent TV once it comes.

Mine too has been great and well behaved.

Just has a call from Hannspree it seems my persistence has paid off, they are collecting the unit for repair on Friday! Hopefully it will be back to me soon!
