who knows......last weekend most sailings in the irish sea were cancelled due to severe gale force winds.

Hi,
I would suggest using the bigger ferry - Stena? - instead of the Irish Line.
The ship is smaller on the Irish line, so is more affected by bad weather.

I've found the North Channel worse than the Irish sea, I try to avoid the route from N.Ireland to Scotland.0
