My O H has asked to be taken to Ireland and my reply is

"When they have finished the bridge."
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

It's rough in the middle of August. Tell the skipper to watch out or he might beach on Sodor
It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical

who knows......last weekend most sailings in the irish sea were cancelled due to severe gale force winds.

This was off on Friday but it seems that time off has been given so it seems it is going ahead. Probably sailing Pembroke - Rosslare.

    Hi,

I would suggest using the bigger ferry - Stena? - instead of the Irish Line.

The ship is smaller on the Irish line, so is more affected by bad weather.

    Cheers,
    Karen

I've found the North Channel worse than the Irish sea, I try to avoid the route from N.Ireland to Scotland.
