We are. Mrs Generali is still livid with a young lady who stopped writing to me when she found I was ginger haired when I was 14 y/o.

Apparently the tradition in Southern Italy is that Judas was Ginger.

The Northern French reckon that Ginger people smell funny.

A good mate has a favoured expression, "Beaten like a ginger stepchild".

I would prefer my kids not to have red hair. It makes childhood harder and i would like them to have a wonderful life, as much as is possible.

DH's American chum says 'you're workin' me harder than a red-headed stepchild.'

    1. I can't do Sundays :( (DH is home on Sundays) Have a lovely time!

    2. Love red hair. Its a family colour for me too. Used to dye my hair red, but was very hard to maintain. I would love red headed babies.

    3. PN, excllent humour. I don't think its your problem if people don't laugh, gives you the last laugh anyway.;)

Generali - Sorry can't make it (even though you would probably wonder who the scoobie I was anyway!) but hope you enjoy your new life - I am one jealous person!

PN - My 2 ASD boys humour at the moment seems confined to laughing until they wee themselves when I fall down the stairs or something similar....and if I hurt myself, strangely it is even funnier! Or my youngest son when someone says something sad, he finds it hilarious...think that is the inappropriate and not understanding part of it.:rotfl: To make things worse, he is complex autistic and has bits of other disorders in there too which include tourettes...now that IS fun in a very quiet cinema on a quiet bit of film :rotfl:
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I know a Sunday isn't the best day but time is short.

You can have one of mine if you like. They're annoying me today. I've gotta get out to Aus so I can work for a living, I'm getting fed up with the Mr Mom thing.

Good luck Generali - not sure who'll take over your role as knowledgeable 'independent' arbiter - whilst obviously, you have your own biases, you've always strived to look at all options fairly - and will be much missed.

Whilst I do know you have young kids, and have posted photos before, I have to admit that I think I prefer to think of you as an old bloke - it gives you more gravitas, somehow. ;)

New life sounds lovely - sure it'll suit you all well. I'd do it myself, but love this country too much, and have too many ties here myself. But obviously makes great sense for you with an Aussie wife.

Can't come to your do, I'm afraid -weekends are usually ridiculously hectic anyway, but I've just agreed to teach private classes for 5 hours!!!! on the trot on that particular Sunday, with a particularly eager (and loaded) student - so I won't be going anywhere.....

    Enjoy!

Sunday is a fine day, if you are not a professional wife to a weekending husband...Fris, Sat and Sun are my day of 'work', lol. (Its nice to enjoy one's job). You were loving Mr Mom before, going to make Mrs Generali work and do it forever....why the change of heart?

Which one can I have? :D Do you deliver?

I try to be very clear about what my bias is so that people can see my posts for what they are. I'm glad you enjoy [some of] them.

Youre not the first person to say I seem old. I really don't know whether it's meant to be a compliment (gravitas, experience) or not!

I am enjoying it really. It's just a bit annoying sometimes. The kids as are likely to seek me out as mummy if they fall down or something which is nice

Either really. I recommend The Boy though. He's a bit moany but he's less stroppy than The Girl.

    The midwife delivers (boom boom).

    .

My general rule - if in doubt, take anything as a compliment. Much less stressful.

I think it's the old bloke in your avatar, people subliminally associate you and him.
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

    Is that better?

Sorry to read that your wife is still ill. Do her parents live near Sydney?
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
