Kids are going to the twins' house later so that I can attempt to sort out the LR ready for the new settee coming on Saturday. Tomorrow we are going to Alton Towers - kids don't know so Miss A shush! - so everything needs doing today.

Been playing about with ideas for moving some furniture between ours and DD's bedrooms this morning so will leave our bedroom until the weekend when we can move it around!

DD's old bed is on freecycle today so that should be going at some point.

Also planning on getting some prezzies wrapped while the kids aren't here and then they can go to my parents' house out of the way!

    I suppose I'd better do something - anyone up for a HHC 10.15 - 10.45?

:hello:Hi vivw! I was just thinking yesterday that we hadn't seen you - so I guess it's halfterm catch up! Me too, although I did try and keep up!

valli, sarah shattered, and G&B - hope you're all feeling better this morning.

Bedlinen in, and I've grafted the toe of the first sock (requires good light and concentration!), also done some school work (boring, more messing around with Excel. On the plus side I now know how to get extra rows, and I didn't have to wake up DS1 to ask him:D)

Now off downtown to buy new school trousers for DS2 who appears to have grown again, and as little else as I can get away with, although I think he'll have to have a coat and possibly another pair of jeans...

DD much better today, and slept through until 5.30am, which is the first night for a week. Think she's definitely on the path to full recovery now!

    Back later.

thanks for the welcome back. I find that during term time I am unable ever to keep up as the job takes so much of my time and energy.....sign of getting old, I think!
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

I'm in for half ten holly. Get a few more jobs out of the way then, no matter the weather, I'm going outside. Dum, dum, dum....... It needs to be done, but if I can come home to a lovely relativly tidy house (might put coffee maker on so there's hot drinks aswell) then I can warm up before I have to go to work this afternoon.
