rach thats great if you have found a 'coffee-mate' - makes a difference to have someone to chat to. I dont have a lot of them either.

Thanks everyone for your hugs etc, we had a 'little talk' at teatime.

I made my point that I cannot do everything by myself and that a bit of consideration goes a long way.

I also pointed out how utterly demoralising it is when I think I've cleared the wash baskets and then one of the girls 'cleans their room' which results in a half a bathroom floor covered in clothes again!!

Anyway I think they got it, especially as the girls have scuttled around taking the lovely clean dry washing up and allegedly putting it away in their rooms.:rolleyes:

Anyway, house smells lovely due to the cinamon and raisin bread, mmmmmm, love that smell, going to run myself a bath I think and have an ickle GnT.

Pigpen, I'll bobble over tomorrow if that's ok, I'm all coldified and want to get my jammys on......managed to revive the coal fire.:D

I may make that banana bread, sounds lovely, I love recipes that mean you bung everything in together, mix and bake.

Ta toots for the wallpaper idea, will head to B and Q tomorrow.xx

TOOTS TO-DO LIST

Monday Marvels- Kitchen
Sweep and mop floors
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
Wonderous Wednesday - bathroom, study, pc room, loo
Level One
Clear the floor of grot, laundry and gubbins
Empty bins and clean them out
Level Two
Wash down the tiles and windows
Clean the bath, bog and basin (and the shower if needed!)
Wipe over the paintwork
Level Three
Wash mats, curtains etc that need doing
Clear the pc desk of rubbish and excess piles of junk
Dust any dusty places and vacuum the dog shelf!
Extras - You know you want to!

1. [STRIKE]Delete 10 dead links from your favourites[/STRIKE] done 12
2. [STRIKE] Delete some unwanted emails[/STRIKE] done 12
3. Fill a binbag of rubbish and throw it out!!

My M.A.C.A.W challenge this week is..............no sweets or chocolates - 2 DAYS (AIMING FOR 10 DAYS FOR STARTERS)


MY BEDROOM CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK (maybe 2!!!)

1. dust any cobwebs on walls/ceiling/book shelves/lampshade
2. cut off any excess
3. tack/tape/staple as required
4. hoover carpet
5. shampoo carpet
6. bring back furniture - chest of drawers/ kist/ wardrobe etc
7. put bed back together
8. hoover mattress
9. remake bed

Have set myself 7 tasks for this week - at a rate of 1 per day that is not much - these must be done this week.

1. check out electricity/gas suppliers for better deal - to finish
2. send info to debt counsellor friend
3. check out house insurance deals
4. get photos done for application forms
5. check present list
6. add up grocery spends for october

Hope you find something you like at B&Q - I am going to get the ingredients for your loaf for the BM - I have only made bread in it - still a newbie with the BM but like you I love being able to stick it all in and leave it!!! Hopefully even I cant go wrong!!!!!
glad you got things spoken about - you sound a bit better - enjoy your bath and G&T ( mumble mumble ...jealous ...no bath....not allowed alcohol...no fun!!!!)

I love that homer one flower- where's it from? Did you know we had marge & homer on our wedding cake? Can't remember if that was one of the pics i posted at the time!
