Argh, all that getting coat, hat, gloves etc on, then couldn't find the torch, remembered how to put caravan onto battery for lights, found torch, batteries flat, finds batteries and changes them, goes outside, one dog escapes and it's all dark......argh.....whole site power is off. I can't remember how to switch heating onto gas so kids in sleeping bags while I try and find instructions.....logging off for now to keep laptop power incase I need it, hopefully back if/when power comes back on (no on site engineers I don't think and site behind us is fine) one of the alarms is going off on one of the vans, I can see it is ok, always goes off when power is off. Just hope that my battery is still good and has held it's charge ok.....
Why do these things happen when DPs gone out??????One day I might be more organised...........

Well not quite so late returning as yesterday. Have had a really good day today, loads, done.
Tomorrow I will be ready to attack bathrooms, and Conservatory (my study)
I am tidying up computer tonight, as I am sat here quite comfortable, and I shall check the balance on my boots advantage card
I will have some work to do tomorrow, as I have been slacking, and like lil-me I haven't done any baking for a while, and it saves me a fortune when I do as ds has a gluten free diet, so I will see what I have in store-cupboard.
So tomorrow will also be a busy one:D
My finances are work in progress.Normal veiwing will resume shortly0 -
evening all
Am snuggled up on the sofa beneath the blanket! Has been very chilly today though no snow, unlike my friend in Brum. Thankfully i thought to put my thermal vest on this morning, so my 20 minute wait on a freezing cold station when i missed the train wasn't as bad as it could've been! I also think I made a friend on the way home, she was waiting next to me at Lewisham and is in a similar situation to me as in recently married, moved and finding it hard to make friends! we swapped emails and were chatting so much she almost missed her stop. I've been so lonely friend wise since i got here just someone to have a coffee and a girlie chat with would be so great.
Once I've had a rest (didn;t get in til almost 7) I will do last night's kitchen list and maybe look at tomorrow's list too. Will post a list in a mo.
Hope all are ok, not caught up yet but I understand Triker needs hugs.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Ok today i managed to tidy the clothes from the bedroom (dearest Boyfriend likes his on the floor not in the wardrobe it seems), make banana muffins, organise my uni files, hung up washing and made stew which is bubbling away nicely waiting for boyf to get home from football training. Not too bad I don't think.. Didn't get to the gym (oops...) Tomorrow's list...
