Evening all - taken me some time to catch up with today!
Big hugs to those who are injured, poorly or feeling down
Dusty: Hygienist was as lovely as usual - I'm a v. nervous patient and she is very soothing and gentle. Mind you, I was a tad late - the drive back from work was pretty grim. It was sleeting as I left and the big black cloud followed me all the way home - took about 15 minutes longer than usual because of the conditions.
But I'm home and warmer tonight than I was last night but it's still not WARM! I'm doing chicken soup for dinner tonight (from the carcass and pickings from Sunday). Real comfort food!
I also need to put the BM on and the DW after dinner. But, I think that's all I'll do tonight.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Made banana loaf - recipe says wrap and keep for 24 hours. I can tell you that we have extensively tested this - you CAN eat it still warm from the oven:rotfl:

Bit of a rant, I'm soooooo fed up.
Eldest DD only got dressed when OH came from work, that's when she decided to get on and do the dishwasher, pretty much her only job.
Other DD on computer, moi, struggling lugging baskets and bags of wet clothes as taking them to the laundrette, I arrange the washing in hallway, scrub some potatoes for tea, to be ready to put in the remoska, then struggle out with NO HELP FROM ANY OF MY FAMILY to the car with 3 large bags and a basket of wet washing. OH offers to come with me but he's still in his suit from work and he's just got in, I asked DD's if they want to come youngest says no, eldest says she's getting dressed.
So off I pop, swinging by the supermarket to get cat food as we've run out (poor cat waiting all day for some food, that's youngest DD's job) and some treats for halloween, then to the laundrette, get it all dry, folded, lug it back to car in 3 stages, then drive home. Drop half of my clean towels all over the flunking road outside, come in and what can I smell....................BURNING BAKED POTATOES..................why can't anyone else smell them !!!!!!?
Dump washing by this time notice the coal fire is nearly out, scoop potatoes out of remoska, shove in a pie whilst the others (sensing my fury) scuttle to the car to get the other bags out.
I would love our home to be clean and tidy, I'm trying I really am but I've took this week off as leave from work ............and it is just loads more work and I'm getting stressed out by it all............I'm just really cheesed off.:o
and breathe.........................DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08
