Pigpen - what christmas card list

If you want to be on the Christmas card list where we send each other cards by either email or post then pm pigpen your name, address and email. She compiles the list then sends it to everyone on it! We did it last year and it worked really well.:D

  • After being such a good girl yesterday (even tho' I didn't get a doggie bikkie from pigpen ) I'm going to have the day off from housework cause the house is lookin' fine! I'm going to Cadburyworld instead with sis and niece - now that will be a test of my willpower.

Gryfon - sorry you're feeling so low. If your thinking about St John's Wort, be careful you're not on the pill as it can stop it from working properly. Hugs

Galant - I lost 4 stone at WW but found I had to exercise loads as well as diet - I kept it off for 2 years until I stopped going to gym - problem with me I'm either on a diet or not IYKWIM - when I'm not dreading the scales them I'm naughty too often. Only reason didn't go back to WW this time is the the ladies who run the meetings around here are too nice and I need a boot up the derriere to get results. Am also not planning to go the gym route this time, just extra walking as gym not sustainable in long run due to lack of time.

vanilla - the snow is lying by you? - it usually tells the truth round here :D

    g&b - hope the exam goes/went well

Going to make myself a pack-up and have a good brekkie so that I don't succumb to McDs and chocolate

Have a great day ladies + Tom

likklegibbon...I wouldn't go on the pill anyway because knowing me I'd forget to take it :rotfl: The only downside I saw was regarding breast feeding but as far as I can see it only affects how much milk you produce and as DD2 is 18 months or there abouts now and not having that many feeds I'm not too worried about that. Would rather she had a happy mummy!

  • Morning gang

Just pottering here this morning as usual. DS1 at nursery, DS2 currently asleep on the sofa, but previously being a bit of a monkey as the 4th tooth (one of the top front ones) is just cutting through so he was very chewy and slobbery. He wants to chew on my shoulder mostly. He didn't actually wake up last night, but did wake me a few times when he was coughing bless him. Hope he shifts whatever lurgy he has soon.

I've managed to sort a load of towels and flannels and stuck them in the WM, hung up a load of wet washing from yesterday, flung open a few upstairs windows and checked the dehumidifier was working as there is a lot of condensation today. I have just sorted out some stuff to post and need a library trip at some point today. And i have just removed batteries from a broken toy guitar, and kept them but binned the toy.

The cat sounds like darth vader this morning with a cold. The other one is ill too but won't come in so not a lot i can do there with him.

serena hope your DD is better this morning

nicki positive vibes to you so you get it all done

juliejim you are not encouraging me that it gets easier with the kids as your two seem to love getting up early  Do they at least go to bed earliesh though so you get a bit of a break?

johanne nice to see you. Is Sarah mobile yet? Sam is wriggling about quite a bit now, so a nightmare - can't leave him unsupervised for very long not even in the bouncy chair - he has also mastered the baby walker in the past week. When both mine are running in different directions i think i will know about it. And i am encouraging this because

cold here today, so i think i had best go shut them windows again and see what else i can do as DS2 just woke. I can see him looking at me :D

Have a nice one everyone. x
