Morning all trying to catch up the thread is getting away from me.
Boys loved the go-karting - great offer from 'lets go carting' £5 and they got 20-25 minutes on the track plus walked the track a talk etc. Usually costs £30 for 30 minutes. It's a nationwide thing so if you have a track near you it's worth a phone call.
Serena - I hope your DD is starting to feel better, what a rotten way to be spending half term.
Vali whilst I am not a peggy I love those pegs - thanks for posting
Only up to page 20 but DS3 needs his breakfast so will be back at coffee time.

Hi everyone
Just skim reading the thread at the mo as we were out again yesterday! Blimey you lot can chat. Wonky thanks button here so everyone have a HUG instead.
We collectively going to try and sort the lounge hall and kitchen today interspersed with play and fun in between. Not sure how successful we will be but will give it a go. Then this afternoon A & W are packing suitcases to go and stop overnight at Nannie and Granadad's (DH's parents) whilst I go gallivanting yet again with a couple of girls from work

All rewards are off!!!!! I'm so mad with DD1
She such a bloomin typical pre-teen, it make me want to spit!! If she aint getting nagged, it aint getting done!
AAARRRGGGGHHHHH!!! I don't have energy or head space for telling her what she needs to do.
DD2 has got bloomin tonsillitis.
She was sick all day yesterday, DD3 was a nightmare because I had my eye off the ball with her, while I was looking after DD2. SO the last thing I need it stroppy mare, pre-teen BS.
WELL.... MUMMY'S BACK ON TOP NOW.
So, sleepover cancelled. Holiday trip out with favourite grandparents cancelled. Swimming with Grandma cancelled. Guides trip to Legoland cancelled (well, so she thinks, I've told her it's cancelled. If she pulls her finger out, we can 're-instate' it. )
She doesn't have very much to do, so I'm blowed if I'm going to let her get away with not doing it. Grrrrr
The stupid thing is that she's so much happier when she's not getting away with not doing her chores/music practises.
So this morning, she's already :-
Done piano practise
Done saxophone practise
Brought laundry down
Washed and dressed
Done maths homework.
And is now clearing her desk
I just wish I didn't have to be so p*ssed off with her first.
Oh, my fab bit of news is that my lovely friend gave me her 6.5l, only used once, slow cooker. :money: Woo Hoo! She put it in the oven (don't ask) and melted the knob on the lid. So, re-placement knob ordered online for the grand total of £2.78. I'm so excited I can't wait to use it!
Ok, s'pose I'd better pay some attention to the children now.

I still haven't cleared DD's bed but there aren't that many clothes left on it! It was piled rather high - mainly stuff that was on the drawers in my bedroom which all fell on the floor Sunday morning when I was looking for something before we went out - so I just dumped it on DD's bed:o
I've also loaded the WM.
I'll join you again holly - I'm going to sort out my ironing pile to see if anything needs getting rid of - I'm not ironing stuff I'm giving away!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Oooh Dusty, where did you get the offer from? My DS loves Karting and he did his bedroom yesterday (after all the ag earlier last week, he's been really good) so I might be able to use it as a bribe to keep it that way! (all up for bribes me
