I'm such a big child when it snows. Fire lit here and loads of sticks brought in, it's so cold.

Went to kids interview yesterday and wasn't that surprised at DS1, he has no interest in school and would prefer to roll around the floor than do any work. DD is doing so well and i'm so proud of her, with all her wee problems she has always been behind for her age group and yesterday the teacher told me that she was ahead 1 month in her reading and spellings. So we decided to give her, her birthday pressie early and she's over the moon.

We also had a builder down last night with another quote and it's a lot lower than the rest so need to get the paper work sorted today for that, but all moving the right way.

Have skimmed the thread but can't remember who said what but big hugs to all still feeling unwell.

Right need a cuppa anyone want one? Smilies not working for me, silly computer won't let me into links or nothing.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Well done to your DD vanilla!

    In my HHC I:

Sorted out the ironing pile - unfortunately I didn't manage to get rid of much stuff out of it!
Put a new battery in one of DS's toys

I think that's it - just shows how big my ironing pile is!:o

DD has tidied DS's bedroom for him and made a really good job of it so that's good - she's now working on her own!

    Morning everyone!

Thank you for all the good wishes, I've passed them on to DD. She is definitely better today - she didn't wake until 4.30am and was only awake for about 45 minutes, and not in so much pain, so it seems the antibiotics are doing their stuff. Not the happiest start to halfterm, and I was so looking forward to it! We'll have to make up with some weekend treats.

I'm not sure how we'll do with the list today, as DD's room is off limits, and the boys, well, I have to ge them of the pc and the playstation first... I could just order a skip and shovel out the whole room I suppose! I have already done the bedclothes, on Saturday.

    Back later.,
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be
