We've got a rubbish collection between 9 and 1 today so been making a pile on the pavement outside - saves going to the tip!

Blimey you are lucky we are not allowed anything extra than what is in the bin, if the lid is raised they are not obliged, and have not always emptied them here.

The only time side waste is allowed is one bag at Christmas.

Having said all of that we rarely fill either bin due to the amount of recycling we do, I just wish they would collect plastic. We have to take that to Morrisons so South Yorkshire get the benefit, there are no facilities our county

Well, it's not great, but I don't think many of them are - are they. Having said that it doesn't seem that there's anything particularly alarming.

  • Morning all. Ironing done, dailies done too. DD now also sharing the bugs and feeling rough. DS and I still taking the meds and feeling marginally better. Hope everyone else suffering is on the mend too.

Valli - I'd definitely recommend the Shaws throw as it's so thick. I know there may be cheaper ones around, but I've not seen any so heavy. Also for cold feet, Milletts do "apre-Ski" bootees a bit like slippers, but with reasonably thick soles. I prefer wheat bags to hot water bottles and they are very cheap in Bodycare. Raynaud's sounds very likely and there is a support group. It can be medicated but sometimes surgery is offered if it's really severe. DB has it quite badly and DH has mild problems. I've even got mini wheat bags that fit in your pocket for hand warming and I don't have Raynauds!

Hair dying session with DD later, but got to do a few bits in town including looking for a knitting pattern for fingerless gloves with a mitten flap!

    Back later. x
