My pretty good day has just been ruined!! I thought I was doing well with the kids off school (DD2 is really poorly with the cold and DD1 had a slight cough so just kept both of them off). We are waiting to get housed by the council and just got a snotty email saying they have my complaint!! I havent complained (yet) as I emailed twice to ask for enough points to get us out of the MOD house we are in as we are past our 93 days to move out (which they already knew about). Phoned up and asked what was going on and just got totally patronised. Ended up in tears - this hassle and stress is starting to get to me.

Thank goodness I have my "making money challenge" here to keep my mind off things. We have enough debt to worry about so trying to make as much money as poss will keep me active and hopefully pay off some debts really soon lol

Sorry for the rant, didn't know what else to do really - thanks for not judging xxx

I've had a carpy day too. I HATE mechanics -just because I am female does not mean you can rip me off! They better watch out tomorrow when I go down there to get my car back. Does anyone know if they can leagally keep your car if you refuse to pay what they ask?

So no money made today and lots to spend out tomorrow. Made myself feel better by leaving an ebay neg for a nasty seller who sent me very rude and demanding emails last month. Revenge is sweet :D

    Rant over:rolleyes: I'm nice really

Thanks Jesa & purpleroses & scuba - I really appreciate that. Gosh I could just do with some purple roses, they are my faves lol. Just going on facebook to email everyone from my area with a link to the story in the paper. Feeling angry as DH was a soldier for 11 years and he is feeling let down by the system but not going to give in until we have a nice family home, or at least somewhere we can make into a nice family home!

Thank you all, it makes me feel much better knowing I can come here and have a rant and no-one will judge!

You are all soooooo lovely xxxxx

  • Just sold something on Ebay, which nets me £40 after I pay to post it out! - Bit gutted as I didn't really want to sell the item in question, but £40 is £40 so have to look on the bright side!
