NOVEMBER Make £10 A Day Challenge

Hello -I know it is not the beginning of the month but I was wondering if I could join the challenge please?
Of course you can join - I'll put you down for £10 a day but if you want to change that just let me know. Welcome
Don't feel too bad actually Purple which I was surprised about - a little delicate. OH has gone to get me a McDonalds which will put me right. Can't see me doing any Ebay listings today though. Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
Have you tried Pigsback, Surveys, Free Bongo, Quidco (some free sign-ups for money)? Also - if you're trying Amazon, try Play.com (Playtrade) at the same time with all your items as there is lest competition on there
^Just be careful listing on both Playtrade & Amazon/ebay - I once did this and someone bought the item on both sites (within 5-minutes of each other)... and I only had one dvd... so one buyer was disappointed0 -
Hi everyone! - sold a book on green metropolis this morning and a DVD on amazon - so thats another £5.87 in the pot - Ive updated my sig.
Thanks for your suggestions Jesa Rose - I'm going to check out play.com now, I already use Quidco and have quite a good amount validated but I'll count it when it pays out (probably for December or January's challenges!) Intruiged by the Free bongo though - (should that have read 'bingo'?:rotfl: )Emergency Savings Fund - £11002015 Mortgage overpayments = £0 -
Yep, its a code word as lots of the free bongo was stopped after everyone on here talking about the ways around doing it more than once. So be careful to avoid posting free and the other bongo word in the same sentence. I don't know who started it but I've just gotten used to saying it now. I've got a long list of the sites still doing it so I'll PM you MissONot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550

inneedofmoney - thanks for the thought about the british legion, but we have tried them already. if we lived in england they would help us like a shot but because we live in scotland, the rbl scotland don't actually give any help, or thats what they told us. DH is feeling totally let down by everyone that is supposed to help when you come out of the forces. it's not fair on him as he never asked for all this to happen and all he is getting is fobbed off and patronised by the agencies that are supposed to help him. not one of them will even come and speak to him, they are all "too busy" to talk to him.
it's left us with the threat of losing our car as well as everything else. we don't want to go bankrupt but it is starting to look like that is going to be the only option left, but we will fight that as long as we can. we are writing a letter today to the car company to ask if they will accept lower payments, just got to to to the supermarket for some bits and bobs for next week
but thank you all for the support, no money made yet, so 3 days behind schedule but hopefully something will come up soon.
thanks everyone, i really appreciate it. xxxLBM - August 2008 - Debts then - £33390 - 2nd LBM - November 2009 - Debts then - £18500:mad:

Have you threatened to go to the papers? They wouldn't be wanting any bad press at the moment so its worth a try, or at least the threat of itNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
£32 today in credit card charges! That was a nice surprise, I wrote to them Friday to ask for money back for overcharging. I couldn't be bothered to write to ask for my statements, so I got together all the statements I could find, worked out that they owed me £16. So got a letter today on my return from my holiday from Natwest Credit Cards dept saying on top of what I asked for there was MORE owed to me! Whoop! No idea when they'll actually pay out, so I'll count it now!0

Not really earned anything since selling the book but done some STP'ing this weekend which should hopefully boost the paypal total (I might just about get it to the magic free payout level this month if I raid my dollar pp account).
But on a totally none mse note, got a 'proper' date with a guy Ive known for a while next weekend, which Im stupidly excited about, annoyingly hes working 200 miles away so visiting hims likely to cost a small fortune - the upside is that the 4 ish hour train journey will be great for spending doing my OU courses (assuming of course that it ends up as we're more than just mates). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
