'Freedom to Surf'-utterly useless!!!

Having been a customer of Freedom to Surf for about a year, I decided to upgrade to their faster speed service.

I received an e-mail last Tuesday, 6th December saying that I had been connected, and since then I have rung repeatedly, been promised call backs, the last one was supposed to be last Friday, nothing!

It is now Tuesday evening , still no calls, and I am now using dial-up until I find a new supplier, one thing, I would suggest that anyone even thinking about using this so-called company, forget it!

  • I regraded from 2mb to 8mb LLU with them, all went fine. I think they are having some "growing-pains" having been recently acquired by Pipex.

    I hope that's not going to change following the takeover

    Just signed up with them from Tiscali, nobody can be as bad as them. Looking at reviews they looked good, so lets hope its just teething problems for you and they sort you out.

    I asked a non-urgent techical question via email a few weeks back, and reply took nearly two weeks. The apparently had (possible still do) a large backlog of queries. No problems in the month and half I been with them.

    I've had the odd occasion where the speeds have been slow,but these have been at peak times,and are nowhere near as bad as what they were with Tosscali.

    At this moment in time,the speed is so quick,my fingers on the mouse,can't keep up with it!!!!

    So all in all,I'm happy.

    I've been happy with them for 3 years. Only reason I'm moving is a) I found somewhere cheaper, and b) people who do have problems are not able to get through to technical support.

    They are fine as long as you don't need to call them.

    Thye've been fine for us for three years - all ouor upgrades have gone smoothly.

    I hope it's not going to go south!!

    I was told three weeks ago to expect bad service when Pipex took Freedom to Surf over, and it's come true!

    Yes, I agree, when Pipex take over something it does seem to go downhill.
