Calling Orange customer services 150 number problem

have people been able to call this number OK? for the past week or so (i'm sure it has been longer) i have not been able to get a response on this number at all. it just stays silent. i have asked five or six other people to try and the same for them (this is in the west yorkshire/lancashire area).

is there a problem or has the number changed or something?

    I gave a month notice for cancelling my contract today on 150. I used a '3' phone to call 07..........150 and asked them to send a cheque, for the credit remaining on my previous contract - no problem

    The remaining minutes on 150 (option 1) hasn't been working for about a week for some reason. The number still appears to be working fine other than that.
  • Since this is one of the services I look after at Orange (until the 23rd when I leave the company) I have raised the bundled minutes fault with the relevant support teams.

    150 is still the correct number to dial for contract customer services. I have been looking over our IVR's today for any problems, but have not found anything so far. Do you get silence at the start of the call or is it only after you have selected an option from one of the menus?

  • I get silence at the start of the call. I've tried with two different Orange numbers but still get the same problem.

    Working ok at the moment though.

    I found that I normally get silence after I select an option (e.g. option 4) only if I do this quickly, i.e. as soon I hear the voice at the beginning of the call. If I wait until the lady's starting reading the second option and then press the number 4, it then works fine.

    seems to be ok today, tried earlier and just again now (option 1 to find out your remaining minutes is still not available as mentioned above). i will keep an eye on this though because it did come back on again once last week but then silence again until today.

    Stephen, the silence was at the start of the call, you dial 150 and it connects but no options were given at all.
  • We hope to have the 150 Bundled Minutes enquiry fixed by tomorrow morning, all going well.

    I reset a few problem voice ports on some of our systems today, so I don't know if this has helped those people experiencing silence at the start of the call, although I have my suspicions as to what is causing it. Do you consistently get silence at the start of every call or does it work sometimes?
