OS meet up?

I have a mental image of Caterina taking out the seeds, crochet hook, wool, books, onions etc from her lovely Mary Poppins trolley, and then producing her new sewing machine to show us what it can do, over tea and cake

I WISH! Thanks for the vote of confidence Sparrer, but I really don't see myself that way, I am much more chaotic, I wish I was that organised and crafty! But I try... :-)

Is anyone happy to have a pre-Christmas meet? If so, what day would be best (e.g. Saturday, Sunday, weekday) and where?

IOIWE I understand. However, nothing can be done about the weather but the lack of funds can be remedied by having a REALLY cheap outing, like a cup of tea somewhere (Blackheath place charges 60p). Not the right weather for a picnic outdoors but a (free) museum visit and picnic in eating area, like we did at the Imperial War Museum? I shall leave it to you to decide, though!

Icey MANY CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Will you bring the future Mr Icey to the next meet (for an OS Inspection :eek:)? Ohhh are you gonna have an OS wedding or are you going to go full out for this occasion? (Sorry very nosey question but I am so curious!).

I am not sure about the where or when of next meet yet, leaving it open for the time being, but keep checking the thread!

It will be a small wedding (if that counts as MSE?) Registry office, lunch is nice pub with 20 guests and then house party with chilli, jacket potatoes & various fillings, salads, etc etc.

So, I suppose there is room to MSE some of it!

Unlikely that the soon to be Mr Icey will join me at OS meetups, he enjoys the outcome of my MSE-ing but generally leaves me to it. He's not wastful but not MSE either :doh:

Would really love to meet up before Christmas but I don't think I can make it to town atm. I certainly will in the Spring if there's one organised then, though

Hi all

By the look of it we won't be able to make it before Christmas, but please look out for a new date in early 2011, it will be good to meet to break up the monotony of a cold winter and cheer ourselves on before spring comes!

Any suggestions for alternative venues are gladly received!
