I had a great time meeting all you lovely friends, new and old! Thank you for coming and making it such a success, it always happens, OSers meet and within minutes it feels like we have all known each other for years!

DP so sorry about your accident, I hope you get better soon (now!). You were much missed and so also LL and IOIWE!

We agreed loosely on a Lewisham fish, chips, knit and crochet outing soon, shout a few possible dates for late October/early November!

Love and many thanks to all of you!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Ok cancel the search party Caterina made it home - I expected to see a report on the news that a woman was found asleep in one of the beds in Ikea and dragged screaming from the store shouting 'let me stay!' sounds like you all had a fab day, great to hear about it x

I had a ball and came home like a kid with a party bag - lovely crowd and thank you for all the swapshops, too many to mention!) - best of all was the natter and inspiration, I have already looked into making Morsbags, planted my succulents into a bread tray ready for the roof (on the black fabric from my old sofa of course), looked up Pergamo, and want to make fleece curtain linings and pillowcase dresses ~ and done a whole lot of tidying up this am as I have nice things to think about while doing it

If anyone fancies a lower-key event at the same venue anytime, even though I am not too local I work near there on Saturdays till just after lunch so could get there for Sat afternoon, maybe as a craft meet? Would be worth being there just to annoy the locals!

(Jo-Jo was your ring handmade, I was trying to sneak a look?)
    Thanks for Caterina for organising!

I would be up for a regular Saturday pm monthly craft meet! Sincerely hoping to meet the old bat and her husband "Disgusted from Thornton Heath" and really let them know what NOISY sounds like! Any Saturday would do me, so just call the date and I shall put it in my diary.

Re. Fish and chips (or tuna mayo and salad for me - back low caring after the sugar binge of yesterday!) I propose Thursday 25th October, noon, at the place in Lewisham. If ok, I shall edit first post with details, map etc. please let me know so I stick it in tablets of stone!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

I've just realised I would be coming straight from working in a field! Oh well, Ikea has good facilities and doormats for muddy boots!

  • Blossom, it's three elasticated ones worn together. It may have been handmade, but not by me :)

Is there any chance of doing a Monday, Wednesday or Friday at some point? I'm busy on Tuesday and Thursdays. And if it comes to it, although it's metered parking until 5pm in my street Mon - Sat, there's always my place for the odd meeting, say once a month. It's easy access by public transport, too. And I have cats :D
