Which brand of butter tastes best?

I got some French and Dutch butter from the grainger market but can't see the diffrence between that and English or Irish really, however it does come wrapped in greasproof paper which makes me feel strangely middle class. I bought some willow the other day and will avoid that from now on but other than that its the cheapest offer.
What I want is a yellow creamy, salty butter for less than a quid please.0 -
Not sure how available this brand is outside of Wales, but here in Bangor I swear by Calon Wen Salted Butter. It's really expensive for butter, but it's made from milk from just 3 organic farms on Anglesey - you really can taste the difference happy cows make.0

Has to be unsalted for me (for cooking and for spreading) and I prefer the continental style butters (French and Italian), I usually use Lescure for toast/bread and for cooking but there is an expensive one in Waitrose which says cow embossed on it (can't remember the brand name but it has a cow stamped on it!) which is the nicest I have tried for spreading. There is an Italian one (Alpine butter form Aosta) which is also very nice. I don't use massive amounts of butter so don't mind spending a bit more for the best."The happiest of people don't necessarily have the

of everything that comes along their way."

My DD might make the odd post for me0 -
Kerrygold is my favourite, and Country Life comes next - but if feeling frugal then I think the best of the "value" type butters is Somerfields, which is creamier and yellower than the Tesco Value."there are some persons in this World who, unable to give better proof of being wise, take a strange delight in showing what they think they have sagaciously read in mankind by uncharitable suspicions of them"(Herman Melville)0

My favourite is Lurpack - I'm from the North East and was brought up with it - living in the south now.
OH can't abide spreadable butters, which is a pain in the bottom, I don't mind them and they are definitely easier to spread than a block. He won't eat toast without butter.
I do like Presidente salted butter too, if I pop into Waitrose I normally pick up a pack.0
