PC problems can't use e bay msn scrachcards etc

i did delete some stuff in the control pannel that i was not using other than that nothing
i don't have anti virus or spybot i will try that site a sec.

mike do you think you will be able to guide me through mending it? if not i will take to the pc shop today

yes i can access that page it is a sign in page for a hosting puppy thing. it is odd what i can't access on the scratchcards sites i can access the scratchcards you pay for and no the others. e bay i can access everything but my e bay etc.

any more suggestions?

i did run the malware thing. not sure if it worked properly. i still can't get on the sites i will upload a free virus thing thanks!

I have uploaded the free anti virus. The pc is still not allowing me into secure sites is there anything else i can do or do i need to take it for repair?

What EXACTLY did you remove?

update, IMMUNISE and scan (Immunise will help protect when using browsers ~ install firefox FIRST though)

Is the stuff you deleted still in recycle bin so you can restore it?

the stuff i deleted is gone. i was trying to delete something called freeze.com. not sure where it came from but it is a screensaver thing it didn't go though

sounds as if you've got something on your computer which is just there to annoy you. try and use firefox like the other poster said, and then spybot s+d.

if it still doesnt work, the money saving expert way would be to completely format your computer so its like how you first got it (but back up the stuff you need first)

if your not to sure about that method, ask at a computer shop (prefibly somewhere local and not pc world etc) how much it will cost to fix, but save your docs etc to a flash drive, its easy to do just copy and paste them over.
