thanks nomore:D I did get the latest software update (wish I hadn't bothered now:rolleyes: ) thing is can't do it your way because I am not so sure I have a comp folder with the videos on it, I just have it all in itunes and have been reading about backing up which I am not sure I have done either:eek: daft really because I have been reading some seriously sad stories of over 1,700 songs on an ipod only to go on itunes and to have it wiped off:eek:

I so prefer the plug in way to recharge the battery because that way you know nothing is coming off, I know you can't add anything that way but it is safer:rolleyes:

Within itunes there are folders for music, videos, podcasts etc.
If you open up the video folder your films will be shown - these are the ones on your pc

Open up the video folder on the ipod as well, then simply drag across :)
It won't delete your old films (unless you run out of space)

In the meantime it's probably a good idea to backup the itunes directory to dvdr or an external HDD ;)

OK, find what you think is one of your music videos in your library. Play it in iTunes. Does it play (don't worry about the whole way through)? If yes, then right click it, and 'get info'. Somewhere in the wee window, it will tell you what 'type' of video it is. iTunes calls them TV Show, Movie or Music Video. When you just import one of your own vids into iTunes, it defaults to Movie. Then you change it manually in this window. If it wasn't categorised as a music vid, it won't be synced, hopefully that's you sorted...
