Ok then this one is simular.


After getting the Pope,s luggage loaded in the limo the driver notices that the Pope is still standing on the curb.

"Excuse me, Your Eminence," says the driver, "Would you please take your seat so we can leave?"

The pope said "They never let me drive at the Vatican, whilst i am over here in the US would it be possible to actually drive the car myself.
"I'm sorry" said the driver "I cannot let you do that. I'd lose my job".
"There might be something extra in it for you," says the Pope. handing him 100 bucks
The driver gets in the back but quickly regret his decision when, after exiting the airport, the pope floors it, accelerating the limo to 105 mph.
"Please slow down, Your Holiness!" pleads the worried driver, but the Pope keeps the pedal to the metal until they hear sirens.
"Oh,wonderful. Now I'm really gonna lose my license," moans the driver.
The Pope pulls over and rolls down the window as the patrolman approaches, but the cop takes one look at him, goes back to his motorcycle, and gets on the radio. "I need to talk to the Chief," he says to the dispatcher.
The Chief gets on the radio and the cop tells him that he's stopped a limo going a hundred and five.
"So bust him," said the Chief.
"I don't think we want to do that - he's really important," said the cop.
"All the more reason."
"No, I mean really important," said the cop.
"What'd ya got there, the Mayor?"
"Bigger."
"The Governor?"
"Bigger."
"Well," said the Chief, "Who is it?"
"I think it's God!"
"What makes you think it's God?"
"Well, He's got the Pope driving for Him!"

Thanks to Bigg for this and sorry to be a kill-joy. Personally I did not enjoy my extra hour's sleep(less) night for worry over the whereabouts of my missing life savings! Proabably I'm not the only one.........


Please don't get me wrong I do very much appreciate all the support from those now re-united with their savings.


But, if we are to be taken seriously and expect support from Martin and Dan, this thread needs to stay on topic.

Wouldn't it be useful to show the request dates and whether CHAPS/BACS, for those still waiting where you have this data?

IMHO Trolls are either:

Idle kids on half term, the Troll rate always seems to go up at this time, I’m surprised they would bother with our thread though.

A person who wouldn’t dare say boo to a goose in real life but become very brave anonymously hiding behind a computer and keyboard.

or

Someone with poor social skills and is pretty repulsive in real life. They see a group of happy sorted people but do everything they can to disrupt it, especially at vulnerable times. I’ve met a few of those on my travels.

The best way to get rid of them is to ignore them; we can then get on with supporting the rest of the group, waiting for their spondulicks.
