You know what is really depressing? I just can't help sitting here with a sense of foreboding thinking "there is still IceSave to come...". I'm sure I'm not alone amongst people on this thread who have that to face. I''m actually quite glad they are taking some time to finalise the details; I really don't think I could face the same debacle again...but maybe I'm being overoptimistic about how that one will pan out in reality.
Edit:
Just noticed I've raced up to two gold stars! So maybe I do have something to thank KE for (NOT).0 -
Great news for all of you who have received your money today.
The rest of you guys - we are not going away until you have all got your money - every single single single one of you. That's a promise!KE veteran - life seemed so much simpler then!0 -

Proposed new dictionary definition: "The state that Kaupthing Edge and IceSave found themselves in the great Credit Crunch of 2008->2010"
Well when a bank says COB, it normally means 5pm. I think in regards to BACs transfers its around 5-6pm but I'm not an expert.
When my boss says 'I need x by COB' I know that normally means I'll be working till god knows what hour so its available by Start of Business the next day :-)0 -
Congratulations to all the people who were reunited with their own money today :T :T
Fingers crossed everyone else gets paid tomorrow. The threat of The Guardian article may galvanize them into CHAPtion!!0 -
