    Fruit pulp - bung it into a pie. Excellent to do this when soft fruit is in season - mix with some fresh juicy soft fruit (blackberries and peaches spring to mind, and the former are free if you leave near some brambles :p ) and the result should be delicious.

    Veg pulp - add it to your slow cooker next time you fling something in :D

    Fruit pulp - make a quick microwave sponge pudding
    I did this last week with pineapple pulp

    Place a few tablespoons of pulp in a (mines pyrex) dish

    Make a sponge mix with
    2oz flour
    2oz butter
    2oz sugar
    1 egg
    few drops vanilla extract

    Spoon sponge mix over pulp and microwave for about 3 mins or until the sponge is springy
    Eat straight away as microwave sponge tends to go hard if left standing :)

    That hardness of a microwave sponge is caused by slight over cooking.

    Two things I've learned:-

    1. Leftovers can go as hard as biscuit - but a brief rewarm on medium will make them soft and springy again.

    2. If you reduce your cooking time by ten seconds each time you make a sponge until it stays perfect even when cold - you've got it :) This will depend on your microwave, the recipe you use, and the dish or bowl that you cook it in. If you change any of them you may need to hunt for the perfect cooking time again.
