I have started cruising the charity shops re gifts, have managed to pick up 6 or 7 unopened brand new gift bags soap things, you know bubbles and soap, or handcream, bath crystals - all for about 50p to £1. Theyall look ace and would have been about a fiver. My present shelf is starting to look semi healthy. (but me not doing xmas this year - youngones away - so holiday for me instead no pressies)

Have you ever tried Hawkins Bizaar? its online and its ace for silly lovely not cost too much stuff (and no I don't work for them)!!!

I finally got paid my job seekers today! 5 weeks worth of it!

    - Paid off one debt - my brother who I owed £60ish to.
    - Paid my part of the bills
    - Done some washing at 30 degrees and is currently drying on the airer.
    - Done food shopping at Asda (rather than the usual Sainsburys) and saved lots of money on rollbacks/offers.
    - Turning the lights off after people grr!
    - Tried to help out a guy I sold a hard drive to on ebay so he wont need it refunded.
  • I is up late, so will say night night to you all, if you havent found hawkins, sorry my spelling is rubbish. Worth a trawl through they have tonnes of things for silly prices, (those curly fish we had when we were kids and they told your fortune, yup they got those- wind up snails, etc etc etc its ace)

Tonight went out to quiz and spent 1 on entry and 1.95 on and gin and tonic, was going for an alchohol free evening but was on own and just fancied a wee gin - great, sucked at the quiz - but had a laugh.

Accepted my lodger person, so think they might come from the 3rd Nov?? 25 a night, 5 nights a week.

Away for sleeps as much to write tomorrow, bread out freezer and had a midnight feast with DS of toast and chattering, i love that at 14 (almost) he still blethers like a lunatic.

  • Today... well yesterday i did the following...

*Spoke to problem loan comp... probably easier banging my head off the wall...
*Changed mortgage from repayment to interest only... while i'm in the poop
*Changed phone comp to lower payment by £1.00 plus FREE Broad band
*Got rid of Crap West and their £12.00 a month bank account "gold"
*Got a Alliance and Leicester account + 0% overdraft facility (amount to be decided), no monthly fee...
    Today i'm going to: -
    >Go to another loan comp and renegotiate the terms see if i can extend the loan & lower month payments by at least £50.00 pcm - not best option as will possibly pay loads more in interest...
    > re-negotiate with Sky see what deal they will give me - if not get rid of the channels i don't use and go for bare min. (when i get new phone line & BB will ditch the sky BB).
    >Going to look at the pro's and cons of renting my spare room.
Not gonna go out and get pi - er, drunk... as joined the stopping drinking thread - so will save £30.00 inc kebab on the zombie walk home....
:EasterBun Sanity, Something I look forward to having :spam:
