  • Afternoon all!
Feeling very tired today so not doing much I'm afraid. In fact, I'm writing this then heading off for a snooze as have a very busy afternoon and evening ahead of me.

    Here goes:

    * Washing at 30'c and airer drying

    * Going to work 4-8pm

    * After work going to my brothers house to do my Mrs Mop job (they are away so can do it when I like this week). That way I have tomorrow free to do my own house!

*No heating on today as seems fairly warm!
    * Check bank account :eek:

    * Had rebate in post from BT :D

Miss P (who's off to do some zzzzzzzzz'ing)
    xx

  • Good morning everyone, I didn’t get a chance to read posts after mine yesterday sorry guys but am sure you were all good and had productive days. Today a long post from me! I did go over my budget by 5 pounds yesterday but not too much a biggie. I bought some more expensive treats than usual for nights. I’m going to try and get through on water no caffeine drinks!

Sophiesmum fab on the party! Sainsbury’s are doing Halloween treat boxes half price and are brill I got one last night!!
Bathgatebuyer – the odd few pounds all adds up. That could be sandwiches for the week at work save pennies!

Im on night shift tonight, tomo and sat so wont get to post till Sunday eve but will be reading online at work to keep up in wee hours. I have white spotty socks on but will be boring black tonight when in uniform

But I am going to get back into DFW mode everyone! I need to do this, next summer I want to be debt free!!!

Today and tonight at work I will
    • Do all my washing….put as much as poss on radiators to save on drying costs, go laundrette dry the rest,
    • Open up my sealed piggy bank, sort out pennies and put in my savings account on Monday.
    • Look around online tonight for a USB data storage thing to back up my work! I have a £10 budget for it and need as much space thingy as poss!
    • Send a birthday card, already have a book of stamps, save there!
    • Make up dinner pack for work
    • Go over finances, I think I can afford to pay for the computer with whats left in bank rather than use overtime!! And a brand new plan to stop me spending!
    • Print off uni articles at work, save on ink and paper, and time looking for them at home!
    • Walk to train station to get to work, free 30 min exercise!
    • Sort out xmas budget and list

That’s all I can think of! 4 hours before leave for work, lots to do!!

Andy thats ace isnt it????? Its so right that the wee things do add up. I hardly ever buy lunch now, and if I do I really have to think, or there's been a meeting or something - I resent the expense.

(And I have an emergency stash under my desk, cuppa soup, rice cakes, ryvita (do they ever go off?) incase i have a moment and forget to bring it in.

    Well done you!!

PS my baby is about to be 14 on HALLOWEEN - HOW DID THAT HAPPEN????
    but he's still my boy!!

I have spent nothing at lunch, and also transferred £50 from paypal to my account, when that's through I will subsequently send it to my credit card. If I could repeat this process a few times a month I'd be sorted on the finance side of things!

My new list for tonight. I need to
    - sort out tenancy agreements for 2 flats I manage
    - burn/post a disk to a client with images on she bought
    - make an album or 2 up for clients, one digital, one physical
    - sort clothes and laundry for mini break next week/wedding at weekend and event tomorrow (I said I will be busy)
    - package 2 ebay sales up to post tomorrow
    - sort a hotel booking out, via quidco hopefully
    - print out some details from emails/reference numbers etc

OK I know there is more but those things need doing before Sunday and as I am busy tomorrow evening and saturday, I need to make a start on it now.

I am proud of myself for not buying loads of lovely stuff in town earlier!

I have started cruising the charity shops re gifts, have managed to pick up 6 or 7 unopened brand new gift bags soap things, you know bubbles and soap, or handcream, bath crystals - all for about 50p to £1. Theyall look ace and would have been about a fiver. My present shelf is starting to look semi healthy. (but me not doing xmas this year - youngones away - so holiday for me instead no pressies)

Have you ever tried Hawkins Bizaar? its online and its ace for silly lovely not cost too much stuff (and no I don't work for them)!!!
