We're currently looking at the cheapest place to get one of these. Cheapest I could find was babies247 - £399.99 with free delivery for Single Sport Stroller + "Double Kit" (second seat with attachment) + DoubleStorm / Rain-cover + Cocoon.

The listing title also mentions a free travel cot, but makes no mention of it in the text - might be worth checking.
  • Thanks Neil!

Just had a look - free delivery as well so no hidden extras. Includes mudguards and tyre repair kit thingy as well.

I will probably wait another 3-4 weeks before ordering just in case it comes up cheaper.

has anyone out there had a phil and teds e3 or the new sp buggy. if so how would you rate it would you recomend it, i love the look of the apple green one...
was it worth waht you paid?
how well does it fold, will it fit in the average boot and still leave space for a weekly supermarket shop?
is it easy to work, ie moving the seats about?
is it small enough to negoiate the shops?

is it worth the cost im thinking of getting one for next baby, i have 11 month old and hoping new baby bro or sis will come along soon and like the fact that this buggy and be used for single child, toddler and baby, 2 toddlers and the back to one child again, ive already had a graco quattro travel system which i detested and belive was a huge waste of money as it was heavy, huge even when folded up. ended up buying a light weight buggy when ds was just 12 weeks old as i was fed up of lugging it about.

Yes and I loved it! (just sold it on ebay for £300 and didn't lose a penny on it after using it for 18 months)
I personally found it a Godsend. No probs in shops, easy to fold no where near as heavy as other buggies. Also yes fits in the same as a single buggy due to the second seat not tal=king any room up. Easy to work.

Only problems for me with this buggy is once the older child starts walking (mine was around 2ish) you then have no need for the other seat. Also you have no room for shopping once both seats are on.

I am also looking seriously at this pushchair..

I currently have a maclaren techno which I have been delighted with. The 2nd pushchair debate is causing me more concern!

I have been quite lucky in that a friend of mine gave me hers on loan to try out.

My LO will be 21 months when newborn arrives.

Hubby loved it and wanted to order one straightaway, but then he doesn't use the pushchair as much as me..

I loved the ease and feel of it. Easy to manoevre. Feels light when pushing it. No problems in shops or on bus. I use public transport and walk a lot so this has to be a priority for me. Heavy for steps, but no similar to other pushchairs.

Easy to change seats around and put in car, but takes up more room as any double will I suppose.

Downside was lack of space for shopping etc. You can buy the panniers but someone has said not to as they then make the pushchair very wide? You won't be able to even hang a bag on a handle remember.

Other feedback from friends: Child in back may start to put hands on wheels at the side. Also a toddler may put feet down on front wheel causing it to brake?

Overall I think it is very good. I think every pushchair will have it's pros and cons, more so with double pushchair and it seems a harder decision to make this time round. Especially as they are expensive you don't want to get it wrong!

I also like the apple green, until I saw 3 teenage Mums with the same colour and changed my mind. It'll be sooo out of date in a few months:D

    It's great in here! :)
  • Easy to steer, great options as children get older, get one you won't regret it! Worth getting the panniers to hold shopping and bits etc if you have the two kids in the pushchair. Folds away well and if you need to take it on holiday the wheels can detach and so folds even flatter! Best item we've bought for our kids use!
  • Worth every penny!! We only got one because dh broke our old double, but we certainly don't regret the purchase. We use the pushchair every day & it's fabulous to push, copes with all terrains & generally does everything it claims to do.
  • these new designed prams they cost around 300 pounds give or take
either of the sports double design or the e3 would do if i cant get it cheaper significantly cheaper then i cant have it  so please help a girl out
    thanks
  • Hi there,
Sorry, I dont want to ruin your day but we have been looking for a pushchair for our pending arrival and got hold of the which review (sorry i dont remember which month it was for) anyway, they had serious concerns about the phil and teds buggy - dont know if its the one you are after - because it failed some really basic safety tests.
I really just wanted to warn you but it may be a totally differnt style so apologies if i get you panic stricken for nothing!
