i'm looking to see if anyone has the phil and teds smart buggy?? i really like the look of it but don't know how practical it'll be. i've just sold my phil and teds e3 as the eldest now walks, and i really am a fan of phil and teds but just hoping someone can tell me what the buggy is like to use

which quinny do you have? does it have a basket? if not how do you manage your shopping? we looked at the zapp but was put off by it's lack of basket0

I have seen loads up for sale on ebay saying 'only used once'. I'm not convinced myself0

Try posting on https://www.babycentre.co.uk/community in the buying for your baby board. There are quite a few pramaholics on there who may have used this buggy.
I've just got a cheapy mothercare tank (which is fab and has a huuuuge basket) and a mamas and papas pulse (lightweight umbrella fold buggy)."I've fallen down a hole" - said in best Monty Python voice-over.0 -
Hi,
We've got a 2 1/2 year old who weighs 15kg and a 10 month old. We've broken our double pushchair (a maclaren rally twin)but still use / need a double every day & I think we'll still be using it for a while. We're also planning on another baby so a new double will probably get further use. We've been looking at the Phil & Ted's double (with the baby seat in the back)...
Does anyone have any experience of this pushchair? Do you think it's suitable for our situation? I know it's not the cheapest option, but I'm hoping that the use we'd get from it would justify the extra expenditure.
We do quite a lot of walking - our daily school run totals two miles a day & that will increase to three in September. I want something that's not too bulky to push with a toddler holding on to the side (we have three children & found the side-by-side maclaren difficult if the eldest boy wanted to get out and walk)
So... sorry for the rambling question... basically, I know people who are thrilled with the P&T using the newborn + toddler combination, but no-one who has experience of the toddler + older baby/toddler combination.
Thanks0 -
Just bumping this one!0

i have a friend who has one of these and she reckons it was the best thing she got. i had the first wheels twin elite and only used it 4 times as the poxy thing kept giving way on my toddler as apparently there was a weight restriction on the seat which i wasnt made aware of
anyway, dont get what i had! lol i would get a phil and ted if i were to ever have any more kids.It only seems kinky the first time.. :A0 -
This is just to give you my opinion....we didn't get one of these...DH liked them...I don't...I don't like the little one shoved away underneath as you can't interact with them and they can't see their surroundings very well, I don't like it that they're so low to the ground near mucky wheels and people's bags....ooh no no no
however this is only my personal opinion..so don't shoot me down in flames!!!!"You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view...
until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it"

Hi, I have a Phil & teds double, it is well worth the money in my opinion. My children are 2 1/2 and 1. Although it states that the heavier child should sit in the front seat we put our 2 1/2 in the back, it is much easier for him to climb in and out of, and if my 1yr old falls asleep I can lay her down in the front position and put the double seat in the top position (iykwim). We first started out with the maclaren twin but found it a nightmare when going into shops and walking the 3 mile back from the shops with shopping.
If you are going to get one I would check out loads of different websites like we did to find the cheapest.
