Other than being desperate to get out of a 3 contract, I can't see what all the fuss is about.

£1 isnt unreasonable for this service imo (printing, paper, labour time, postage cost), but imposing the charge on people isn't right.

Presuming people have access to the internet its a doddle to change over to ebilling. I did it in about 2 seconds flat on the 3 site. No more £1 charges and I have access to my bill whenever.

Just wondering if anyone has managed to cancel their contract yet due to this change ....... It is a terrible service ..... always cutting out .... only receiving part of texts ... texts taking ages to come through ..... I can get excellent reception in my kitchen but none at all in my bedroom ... aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh

I don't think you'd have any luck getting out of your contract over this as itemised billing is an extra service above and beyond what they are obliged to give. They are offering you a means to avoid the charge, so it's up to you whether you pay it or not. It's not like when they increase call prices as you either have to accept them, or get out of your contract since calling is an integral aspect to owning a mobile phone :P

This is what i also believe you can only cancel your contract due to the change in t and c by charging you for the full minute i believed it was rounded up to 1 minute for each minute not just the first may be wrong. I had a letter as did all customers i throught a few mounths back about the changes there was a thread about it on here i think lots of people trying to cancel there contracts but the staff are not very helpfull and some people were on the phone for over an hour with no luck but i think you can only use the change in t and c clause for abou 30 days after the change i think and its been more than that now so may be worth a try but i think it may not work.

You can cancel if u r not on mix&match because this change only effects to custumers with old price plans. Mix&Match customers are on Fisrt minute billing from start. Check ur bill for details
