If I recall - they did something like this a couple of years ago, this was classed as a change to the T's and C;s and enabled a number of people to get out of longer contracts as they had changed the t's and c's.
Anyone with knowledge than me confirm/shoot this down? I'd like to dive out of a contract early if poss!!0 -

I am not sure about this but you should be able to cancel a contract based on the fact that Three have also recently changed their T&C's by billing for the first full minute of your call (minimum call charge) rather than by the second billing for your first minute.0 -

This is what i also believe you can only cancel your contract due to the change in t and c by charging you for the full minute i believed it was rounded up to 1 minute for each minute not just the first may be wrong. I had a letter as did all customers i throught a few mounths back about the changes there was a thread about it on here i think lots of people trying to cancel there contracts but the staff are not very helpfull and some people were on the phone for over an hour with no luck but i think you can only use the change in t and c clause for abou 30 days after the change i think and its been more than that now so may be worth a try but i think it may not work.If ive helped click thanks it will make me smile

I was thinking it wouldn't work as I have only had my contract 2 months! Im looking for anyway out of it as its gotta be the worst service I have ever received, txt messages not sending and it keeps dropping calls!! grrrrr I wish I had never changed supplier!0

I'm so glad I have switched away from 3 then!
Mind you, good luck with cancelling, it took me four calls over an hour and repeating of the words "NO I would just like to cancel please" before anyone would actually do it for me. The far east call centre staff just kept reading over the same script trying to talk me out of it and kept cutting me off. I only had a bit more luck once I got through to the Edinburgh call centre. Very stressful!0 -
So where's the grabbit then?
This belongs in the mobiles board...The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster!

I only have 6 months left on my contract and phoned to complain as I was told I would get free billing when I signed up and after a long drawn out conversation they finally agreed to credit me £5 so it'll only cost me a quid til the end of the contract for paper a statement.Always looking for a bargain and to help0

You have 30 days from the notification of changes in the T&C to cancel contract. I have 2 months left on an 18months contract, I'm satisfied with Three's service for me.0
