Some guy is trying to force himself thru my front door. I'm on hold to the local police station...been waiting 15mins so far.
Got 3 kids I've told to go and lock door in my bedroom.
Feeling a bit scared. I dont think it warrants a 999 call cos no one is dying so am calling local police stn so they can send someone out. I think this guy is drunk more than anything as it sounds like he's got keys that he keeps trying to use. But he keeps kicking the door and trying to force it open.
what shall i do. he;s makingme nervous!

Phone 999 for goodness sake. What happens if he gets in?
Have you shouted at him to go away?

chaching - I'm hoping the fact that you've not come back to the thread so far means you are speaking/have spoken to someone on the phone.
Let us know how you get on.Herman - MP for all!0 -

I prob sound v silly to u lot for not calling 999. Just that i thiNK he's some guy that lives down the street and thinks that this is his house. And i didnt think he was violent (guess how was i to know eh? and i should have played safe than sorry) - he;s still outside but hes fallen asleep on my porch. My kids climbed over the garden fence and into my neighbours house so they're ok. Had to pretend we were playing a game (they are very young) so they dont get upset.
I'm waiting for the police to come. They said becos he's fallen asleep ooutside...it 'appears' theres no immediate danger. I asked if i should have called 999...and they said it's not really an emergency cos he;s not threatening me. But i think next time i will call anyway.
And yes i have got time to type on here (was typing while on phone to stn) !....no seriously im alone at mo and wanted some support...even if its justs just a msg....sad i know....
no police yet.....im peeking and he looks half dead to me......0 -
Not sad at all, chaching. I think most of us would say we're not just here for the moneysaving. If we can do anything to help....even if only sending support from a distance, then all well and good.
I'm glad the situation isn't worse.
Hopefully the Police will be there shortly, if they haven't been already.Herman - MP for all!0
