Banned from Tesco - 'Misusing Coupons'

Clubcard = evidence and this may incriminate her to tesco
Also, paying for 60% of shopping with coupons is blatent coupon abuse
I use my credit card clubcard everytime I shop and I hand over anything between £5 and £25 worth of vouchers at a time. All individual vouchers, a mixture of internet and ones received via the post.
I have used them for the last 5 months without an issue. If the SA is not sure they speak to a supervisor who confirms that its ok as long as there are not duplicates and that they stock the item.
Martin has advertised this policy on Radio 2. Now as we all know it states that they are not to used against anyother product than stated on the voucher but Tesco take them regardless.
It is a luxury that they do at the moment, that is their choice that they give to us freely. If you are not happy with Tescos decision to allow this then take it up with them and not Dailyclicker.
Also remember the "Forum Etiquette" this is supposed to be a friendly board. We are all entitled to our opinion but there's no need to be nasty with it.0 -

Are you _really_ saying that if you had used a clubcard that showed what coupons you had used over the past few months then this could have proved your innocense?
Why exactly don't you use a clubcard? Will you be using one in the future to protect yourself against this happening again?
Maybe if you really think that getting clubcard points would be unfair on Tesco you could just not use the points - it would still keep a record of what you'd bought and what coupons you'd used.
Failing that, just keep all your receipts. Again, presumably, these could have been used to prove you had done nothing wrong?
I have got the receipts still if that helps, showing that I have used two coupons a week per transaction.0 -

I was told using anymore than two coupons a week, was Coupon Abuse.
Unacceptable.
Just to clarify, was that what you was informed to be the overall policy, or what they imposed on you, personally, as part of lifting the ban?"Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."

That is the overall store policy that the store manager wishes to make.0

This all seems very harsh to me; fair enough, the OP may have somehow been breaking the rules regarding the coupons but Tesco can't really prove that it was deliberate or anything so surely a warning would suffice? An instant total ban on a customer sounds like a last resort for someone clearly taking the mickey on more than one occasion, to me. Very odd. I don't like Tesco's attitude towards a lot of things though

Am I being a complete div, but if you have a coupon for Walkers crisps, you buy Walkers crisps, if you have a coupon for Hinze soup, you buy Hinze soup?
I would not try to us a coupon for a product I was not buying.......its fraud, plain and simple!!0 -

With all due respect to everyone, we only have one side of the story. There may be other issues which would justify Tesco's attitude - and there may not.
One thing is certain- when people post on internet forums such as this they will nearly always be convinced they' re in the right, and will,(perhaps subconsciously), only give us the facts that substantiate their stance .0 -
^^^^
Good point on the other issues.
I work for a coach company, we ban very smelly people beacuse it upset the other passengers. It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0 -

Have you not read the Tesco Coupon policy that I have posted on numerous occasions in this thread?0
