But this still doesn't account for the staff not actually knowing the Store Policy or Policy from Customer Service/Head Office?0
-
Can I state the customer service centre is classed as a branch, they forward complaints to the store or head office
THEY DO NOT NOR EVER HAVE SET ANY POLICY!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -

I was told using anymore than two coupons a week, was Coupon Abuse.
Unacceptable.
Sounds a bit harsh to me.0 -
They should make the/a policy nationwide so all customers know where they stand!0

I think people need to back off the OP. People come on this forum for help not to get judged or abused!0

How is it unacceptable that they want you to pay cash for your goods instead of coupons?DailyClicker wrote: »Yes it has been lifted.

Tim and I was right, from what you said you were using alot of coupons a week.0 -

That's why I put CS/Head Office.
Even more reason for the stores to be keeping to the policy if it's come from Head Office!!
Just please explain one last thing.
The policy from Tesco Head Office states:
- There is NO limit on the amount of branded coupons a customer can use at one time. They can pay for ALL of their shopping using branded coupons if all the coupons are for products stocked at Tesco's
- We accept internet coupons
- We accept branded manufacturer coupons even if you don't buy the product, as long as it's in stock.
- This is all at the managers discretion
So how does using two DIFFERENT valid manufacturer coupons, different ones each week even come close to COUPON ABUSE!?
I'm still really confused....
You'll probably say it's the manager's decision what is coupon abuse/fraud.
But that is just like saying if I set up a shop, and then sell an item to a customer, take the money and everything, I can just claim that purchase was fraudulant. He's done nothing against my store policy.0 -

Exactly, and make sure staff are aware of the policy. Half of them haven't got a clue, and it's not their fault! They need to be made aware of the policy by management.
Would definately help if their was one policy for all... don't see why their shouldn't be.
If they have an actual coupon abuse issue, they need to brief all members of staff, on what to look out for, and maybe block the self checkouts from accepting coupons without a member of staff validating every single one.0 -
Perhaps self service tills should not taken any kind of coupon. If the customer had to hand over the coupons to the checkout operator it would stop the ones who abuse the system and spoil it for others." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

"YOU'RE" is the correct word. Sounds like you're fully aware of the difference between "you're" and "your". Do NOT try to correct me when you clearly have the intelligence of a dead goldfish.
Anyway, policy or not, Tesco can decline any method of payment at any time. It's their right as a retailer. The OP should stop being a tramp and actually pay for their shopping properly.
