So how does using two DIFFERENT valid manufacturer coupons, different ones each week even come close to COUPON ABUSE!?
I'm still really confused....
You'll probably say it's the manager's decision what is coupon abuse/fraud.
2 a week won't flag anything unless your using more that your not telling me about or coupons not accepted by tesco. Depends what the store policy is, maybe you abused the stores rules. Without knowing the store I couldnt tell you what their policy is.0 -

Same old story, innit though, !!!!!!!!!! gets caught freeloading, gets booted out of the shop, turns out it's the shops fault...."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

As I've told you before, I asked what the policy was, and they confirmed it was the policy given to them by Head Office.
I scanned one coupon, and up pop the verify screen, so a Supervisor was called over, who issued me with the 'ban' and stormed off herself.
At least it's been lifted now, which proves my innocence, at the least?0 -

I don't care what the OP has or hasn't done, there is no need for all the abuse!0 -

Three of them, knew my name and situation about coupons, which was the only complaint made against me. I was told that it was brought up last night by the Store Manager, that she wasn't happy having me in store.
how did they know your name? Did you give it to the original supervisor...and if so, why?If my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!0 -
And do you really, honestly, believe you are in the clear? Remember this is just us you are talking to. You can tell the truth.DailyClicker wrote: »The only reason why I feel that I have been banned is because the store might have received a lot of coupon abuse over the last few months or so, and have just pointed the blame on me.
Are you _really_ saying that if you had used a clubcard that showed what coupons you had used over the past few months then this could have proved your innocense?
Why exactly don't you use a clubcard? Will you be using one in the future to protect yourself against this happening again?
Maybe if you really think that getting clubcard points would be unfair on Tesco you could just not use the points - it would still keep a record of what you'd bought and what coupons you'd used.
Failing that, just keep all your receipts. Again, presumably, these could have been used to prove you had done nothing wrong?0 -
Clubcard = evidence and this may incriminate her to tesco
Also, paying for 60% of shopping with coupons is blatent coupon abuse0 -
But according to the OP (who has no reason to lie to us and nothing to gain from sympathy from strangers for lies) she has not done this. Therefore clubcard = evidence which would put her in the clear.Clubcard = evidence and this may incriminate her to tesco

Unless (for some reason that I can't fathom) she is lying to us. But really, why would she bother?0 -

But if Tesco are banning people who use 2 coupons a week wouldn't they have banned tens of thousands of people by now which would be pretty widespread news? Even in one store that would probably result in 80/90% of the population of an entire town banned, we'd know about it by now if that were the case.
Haven't we seen umpteen threads now where it's became clear the op's weren't really telling things as they were? We've even had entire situations made up!0 -
I agree, Tim, that something doesn't sound quite right.
But 180 posts later on this thread I am intreiged to know what's really going on.0
