I ordered some toys for xmas pressies earlier on .com and spent £75.18 and gained 2550 points :j so I am a happy bunny .


I was also going to order some nappies, wipes and (12mnth+) baby milk on another order to stock up and get lots more points but sz 6 huggies and pampers sensitive wipes are both oos :mad: so I can't.


Considered ordering more toys and various other bits and then realised that I didn't actually want them and was only doing it for the points so stopped myself

Very happy with my 2550 points though

hello gals and guys!!
went to my local xmas event last night at merry hill and can confirm that the S&G "pay with points and save a third" offer was on and got the GWP (think the SA scanned it through first and it didn't beep!!
Also managed to get the R&M mirror using the pinkie!!
Its a bit bizarre really as i tried to get the R&M mirror with pinkie at the Great bridge store but the till said no!!

Don't forget everyone when your at the xmas event although you can't use the extra point offers sent in the post if your store has an ad card machine your total spend extra points still work.

Personally, i love the idea of an incentive or offer for paying with points. Sometimes there's nothing worse than paying with points, knowing you're not earning points on the purchase or able to use vouchers so something like this softens the blow somewhat. I know that technically my purchase is free when paying with points, but somehow i still never feel like im getting the best deal :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I couldn't agree more claire, we have all been there. Problem is Boots don't really want us to spend the pts neither. I Just wish the SA didn't state it at the end of the transaction.

I tend to use my points for really good treats for me that I wouldn't dream of spending cash on, and also in the sales to 'double my money/pts' We hate spending them, and are gutted when they are gone. :rotfl:

i developed a strategy of going to the till furthest away from the gifts section as I am sure the SA's located nearest this area have so many people trying to get the R&M mirrors/gifts with a pinkie!!

Went to Fforest Fach Boots in Swansea today for the first time - quite a nice store

A few clearance bits, mainly cold & flu tablets and skincare at the back of the store. There were also a few No 7 reductions at the counter, I think it was Lip & Cheek pencil?! Didn't bother with it but it was under £5. The half price No 7 electricals promotion was still on.

I bought:

2 x UG Spa Ritual Elixir - £6 (lots left)

Bic Pure - £1.32
Bodyform x 2 - £2.00
R&M Mirror - £6.00
Witch Pore Strips - £3.00
Used 40p off Bodyform and No7 voucher, so total to pay £6.65 and earned a pinky
