Hi everyone, long time since i've been in here but i've been staying away from boots as spent far too much time and money in there, LOL!
Quick Q re: boots.com... I haven't used it since the new site but want to order some toys in the weekend offer.. It used to give you the best offer on the 3for2 and let you have 1 x £15 free item if you buy 3.. now its giving me my cheapest items overall free, i.e £3is that right and is there a way round it?

Oops sorry, just realised it is doing it right. Shows how long i've used it as can't even spot an offer correctly, lol!0

Don't forget to use either the 750 point code on a £75 spend or 1000 points on a £100 spend to boost your points hun x

In the Christmas catalogue it says " In our 3 for 2 mix & match every third gift is free....Blah blah...The more you buy, the better value it is. Thats because our tills automatically put your gifts in descending price order - so you get every third item free, not just the cheapest ones. EG
Gift 1 = £35
Gift 2 = £20
Gift 3 = £16 FREE
Gift 4 = £15
Gift 5 = £8
Gift 6 = £7 FREE.
So I suppose you could argue that Boots.com should do the same, as instore unless it states otherwise on their site?~ What goes around comes around ~0 -

Online the basket does organise your purchases so that every third item in descending order is free. I think lab-dabs basket may have just been playing up. The site seems to be very tempramental today (as if we would notice any difference  x:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -
No shopping lists as such (although I can't see the table for shopping bags :rotfl:
lol) but look out for the reduced Ted Baker mens body sprays and body washes on 75% off. And similar for some King of Shaves and Nutrasome. Expert Facial Spritz was also down to £1.00.
Vidal Sassoon had some vent type hair brushes showing as 75% off too in one shop, and half-price in another, but they were all 75% off. Check them though as there's the large one which is still £7 afaik. These were the ceramic round and ceramic tunnel brushes.
It's weird reading back about the S&G offer, as I had a convo with a SA today (after buying 3 items for the free gift) and she hadn't heard of it.It was before I read today's posts, which is what's made it so spooky
