  • I haven't seen any clearance in any Birmingham ones for ages. Since Xmas stuff came out fully. The high street one is usually best for clearance if they do have any though. I have been using my pinkies etc on the R&M Mirrors and getting the other two items as extra presents eg chocolates or shower gel sets for xmas presents. With this Credit SQUEEZE it more than helps!
Hmmm...am now wondering if my OH will notice if I sneak off tomorrow to Birmingham...and also if driving about 40 minutes each way to get TS & SS tills is a bit obsessive?!?! :p

Does anyone know if there's much in the way of clearance in either of these stores at the moment, and any good offers to use my pinkies on??

    TIA :T

Hi Boo - I bought the Olympus F350 a couple of weeks ago. with points:eek::eek::eek:

Have to admit, I've only fiddled about with it - not used it properly, but it seems like it will be pretty good.

I will point out that you need to buy a memory card for £18 and it doesn't come with a carrying case either.

beacause the items were not paid for by legal means................. if bought with a pinkie and/or TS,

can you imagine how many new people to this thread and there has been loads over the last few months, that might not fully understand all the implications of having an advantage card etc, everything you buy return and use a card is being closly monitored, and if boots now start to have 100's returned for no apparent reason, but have sold 100's will very quickly put a halt to it for all.

I have been bootsing for years not weeks why can't people be happy with getting things for next to nothing - if you don't want them/have too many there are plenty of refuges/charity shops that would welcome them (thats where 16 of mine and a few little toys have gone)

but to take them back is far too risky for me and loads of others who are choosing to keep there zips done up for the sake of an all out free for all :rotfl:

There are hundreds of people out there buying 3for2 gifts in Boots and paying for them not using a pinky. I don't think Boots worry too much about an odd swap here and there. I wouldn't personally swap any small gifts that I have bought but I don't see the point in getting mad with people who choose not to keep their zips done up!!

It's not a very friendly way to behave towards someone new to the forum.

Because you only pay £1 for a R&M mirror with a pinky, but can get a £6 exchange for any other product. Although if it was an exchange, it shouldn't really make much difference to Boots as it's £6 of goods being swapped for another item.

    My thoughts - exactly!

  • Arghhhhhhhh what a bad bootsing day. Went all prepared with my coupons for olay moisturiser free face wipes, extra points blah blah points blah they had expired. Looked for the magazine ahhh good they have the magazine looked at the coupons in the back didn't recognise the deals I was told on this forum. Grrrrrrrr don't start until Nov 5 yikes. To top it all I found a points coupon on the floor for 250 points on Ruby and Millie and went and found the cheapest thing with R M a wee brush and the SA said that coupon doesn't start until JANUARY.
Then went and bought a bunch of crap that I really didn't need but was on clearance bin at 50 pence each to get my £5.00 voucher for No 7. Added it all up and it came to £6.10. Went to pay, huge queue so could not hold it up, and the SA said £4.90 please. I said "what it must be more than £5.00?" Nope some of the crap was buy one get the other 50 pence thing at half price. Hhhaahahhaa I had to laugh anyway imagine wanting to pay more. Ended up with a bag full of foot cream, and foaming cleanser for people with bad skin ---- which I don't have but probably will when I start using that stuff. Then the 20 to 2 bus didn't turn up neither did the 20 to 3, finally caught the 20 to 4. There were diversions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I didn't laugh I would have cried all the way home. When I got off the bus my hubby said "you look like you had a good Bootsing haul today". Poor chappy I nearly hit him.
