Fortunately Pollsdolls has already declined this suggestion. My first baby is due tomorrow so when I read this I had this horrible mental image of me in one of those sumo wrestler style nappies...bad image...baaaaaad image!!! It's as much as I can do to get off the sofa at the moment so it sounds to me like that might be a better setting for me and Polldolls:rotfl:

It was only a joke. Anyway, I chatted too much on here last night. Defeats the point of this thread as it is meant to be about getting bargains and what not. So apologies to one and all. No more chatty/gossipy posting from me as of today. Good luck Nuninge and the other lady that is having a baby.

But before I go, Mariah is on X Factor next week, so be sure to watch it! Wooohooo!

  • The Ugg elixir is very good I also used it tonight. I only needed about a third of the bottle and I have quite long hair.It makes it nice and straight. Not witchy , like it usually is.

  • Sorry to go over this AGAIN :o but can I just confirm the pinkie/TS glitch please (now that I have some TS winging their way to me from the lovely Mrs T :D )

    1 x R&M Mirror: £6.00
    2 x other '3 for 2' items @ £5.00 each.
Till takes off 1 of the £5.00 items
    Leaving £11.00 to pay.
Hand over both pinkie & TS
    Leaving £1.00 to pay.

    Is that right? :D

What a spookie thing that we have similar names and just a few days ago, I was asking the same question, and here I am, answering yours!

Yes, that's exactly what you do. I went out in the pouring rain today, and did it at 3 Boots, and now have enough Christmas and Birthday gifts to last the rest of my life!

I then, I'm ashamed to say, found myself looking at the floor, and picking up discarded pinkies! I found that No 7 anti cellulite lotion was £5, so I made several trips to the same till, with wet and crumpled pinkies, and got, um, er, a lot of these! Each time, it just "cost" me the voucher. The SA was even looking on the floor for more!

I then waded through the floods to another Boots, and asked a bored looking SA if I could swap 2 R & M mirrors for something else, and apologised that I couldn't find the receipt, and she said "No probs hun", and gave me - £12!!

So I then treated myself to a coffee and a cream eclair, and came home with 14 different items, that had cost me £2, less my £12 refunded, take off my coffee and cake (£4), so I came home with £6 more than I started with!

Off to Canary Wharf and Bond Street on Monday with my last 3 pinkies and till spits ........

There is another Boots thread running on here for chatting - does anyone have the link? It has been mentioned on here before.

I must admit when there is too much chatting it does make reading the posts and working out the deals a bit difficult !!

No worries Broclo, you are simply a victim of your own popularity lol! I think it is lovely that you help so many people via your PM's and think Martin :money: should give you a bigger PM box because of all you do to help. You amongst others are to thank for my hoardes of lovely Boots stuff and I can't complain about that! :rotfl:

I got my mum the kodak M863 a few months ago for her birthday, and its a lovely wee camera. It takes great pictures and is very small and sleek looking, and easy to use. In fact i've been dropping hints to the OH about how much i'd love one for myself :rotfl: :rotfl: x
