hello just checking but if i as to buy the r&m mirror and then 2 other items at 6 pound wud i still need to make sure ther mirror is taken frist or is this only for items that are more than the mirror, similarily if i get 2 items and 5 wud i need to put mirror thro first. Also how come it leaves so little to pay? is it cause it takes one off on 342 and then the mirror is free as that would still leave about 5 to pay. Sorry but im going shopping tonight. I have 5 vouchers and i will use 2 for the 342 glitch, 1 for mens gwp (how much does 2 make it?) then the remaining one or 2 and get some free things. do i need to buy other things to cover up my shopping? Im so excited but want to get the most for my money, how do you think i shud work it? thanks everyone xxxxxxxx

Oh that's such a shame hun *hugs* Those SS sound very evil indeed- I wonder if it wasn't registering that you'd put the voucher in the slot and that's why it was asking for authorisation

Is there any way you can get to your local Boots this afternoon- even without SS tills you could still build up a lot of points with little spend at manned tills if you can find a nice SA, even if you only use some of the pantene and Olay vouchers!
Thanks Tiara :) I think it did register it as it was only after id pushed the voucher in it came up iyswim? It also said quantity restricted item each time and even the sa said she didnt know why it was saying that:confused:
Cant get to boots today, will be going straight past it too but will be with my mum, sister, DS And little brother (both age 3) So wont really be possible to boots! (is a nightmare with just ds) Never mind :)

I know how you feel, I also have to travel about 1/2 hour to SS tills and to be honest I never have a lot of luck with them.:(.

Why don't you try some of the transactions on the normal till, just pick your SA carefully ;) . Some love to see a bargain go through.
Theres only 2 sas at my local that i think will let me do them, 1 on photo that i dont like going to as i dont think he like serving people with non photo stuff. Cant even go to see if shes there really for the reason above :(
    Thanks x

Ah well, if there's one thing I've learnt with Bootsing, it's that another great glitch/offer/bargain will be just around the corner :D
Hope you can put all those points/vouchers out of your mind and enjoy your day with your family :)

Last Sunday I used the £5 glossy electrical & the £5 ts electrical on the Oral B 8500 (along with the 1500 points of course :D) on a manned till with no problems. So £24.99 to pay and approx 1600 points.

Had a bad first shop on ss tills yesterday :( Drove over half an hour to the shop with ss tills after oh finished work, got there with 10 mins til the shop shut as we got a little lost:eek: Thought id grab a drink and pantene to test using vouchers. Scanned the stuff and it was fine, wouldnt let me scan vouchers before pressing finish and pay! Then i scanned £2 pantene and put it in slot and it needed authorisation! Waited ages for someone to come over (oh went and got someone in the end) The woman said to the male sa that totals a bit low for all that? (only 2 x coke and 2 x pantene!) It was £2.49. I explained i used a £2 coupon and she said that was fine. Then i used 200 points pantene and it needed authorisation again! Male sa oked it but was too scared to use my £1 pantene coupon! Must be set up to need authorisation after every coupon :( They were shutting the ss tills down so we just went home :( (oh not very happy with me!)
Im so disappointed, ive got shedloads of good vouchers, £4/£5 olay x 4, 600 points olay x 3, £2/£1 pantene x 8!, 200 points pantene x 2, £5 wys £20 no 7 etc. All wasted now :( Had about 6 great transactions planned, spending approx £16 and getting nearly £60 in points! Would have really helped towards xmas as we're so skint and wanted the no 7 gwp for ohs birthday on the 9th. (and lusting after the r&m i writer and lip gloss for me:rotfl: )
    Ah well :(

Can't remember exactly off the top of my head but think that you press finish and pay before you put the vouchers in. THere is then a button that says coupon which you can press and the till then tells you to scan the coupon and then insert it (once you've checked that the amount has come off). When I do it, I'm sometimes not given the option to put any more coupons in and there is only a button saying no more coupons so I press that and then press finish and pay again and it takes me back to the screen where I can press coupon again and add another one. Not sure if that helps at all or if it is literally the tills that you are using that are set up differently and therefore causing a problem. Hope you're not put off from using them forever.
